On a related note it would seem that PC Kenya has not evac-ed, see here, but according to various blogs (like this one) and a newspaper story that I can only see the summary of… It would seem that PC Kenya is picking people up out of problem areas and moving them to secure locations.
-Update- It would seem they are sending Kisumu area volunteers to Dar. Blog posting here.
