Sigh. If only that one thing under the Zanu-PF column wasn't such a killer. There is some background on the deal (before it looked as though the MDC would go for it) here.

I take it all back. Bobby has failed to storm out of the room at the AU summit, which must mean that he has changed and will begin sharing everything with Morgan. Snacks, drinks, power and sweet nothings. Story here.

The resolution on Zimbabwe said that the AU was concerned with the situation and would encourage Mr Mugabe to initiate dialogue with Mr Tsvangirai "for the creation of a government of national unity". It said: "The AU remains convinced that the people of Zimbabwe will be able to resolve their differences and work together once again as one nation."
