Things are not looking so good in Kenya right now. I certainely hope that things will settle down this weekend. Beeb stories here and here.
On a related note it would seem that PC Kenya has not evac-ed, see here, but according to various blogs (like this one) and a newspaper story that I can only see the summary of... It would seem that PC Kenya is picking people up out of problem areas and moving them to secure locations.

And segueing PC politics into US politics. Chris Matthew said: "You know I'll bet there's not a Peace Corps volunteer in the country who served in the Peace Corps in the ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s or recently that won't vote for this guy. He is so emblematic of our attempt, I think, to rejoin the world."
